Fallon Yates is the Owner and Artist behind Market House Restorations. For over 10 years, she has found a passion in reclaiming and restyling furniture and décor. Whether it has been restoring pieces for her own family, or transforming pieces for others, she have fallen in love with the beauty, affordability, and fulfillment that flipping pieces of furniture and cabinetry has brought to her life. She works full-time from her backyard studio, which gives her the ability to still be home to take care of her kids.
In 2011, when Fallon was called to leave the corporate world and stay home with their first born child, it forced her to become resourceful in-order to maintain a functional yet beautiful home for her family. After a while, she found herself painting and restoring anything she could get her hands on. As time went on, she started to extend her services to family members and friends. This quickly caused her clientele to grow larger-and-larger, so in August 2017, she took a leap of faith and decided to turn her passion into a career and open a full-time furniture and cabinetry painting business; Market House Restorations.
Fallon sells her painted furniture through her website’s Online Marketplace. She also has two eBooks. The first one is a staging eBook called, Your Virtual Storefront. The Complete Guide to Staging Painted Furniture, plus three other Staging and Styling guides available. The second eBook is called, Thrifting for Your Virtual Storefront. The Complete Guide on How to Get the Best Deal on Furniture and Décor.
Fallon offers a FREE blog packed with detailed step-by-step makeovers and informative video tips and tutorials to help guide, inspire and educate you when it comes to restoring and painting furniture. Not only does she provide you with great information on those topics but she also blog’s and provides you with free tips on thrifting, staging and home decor!
