The Color of Your Staging Item's Should Be Cohesive with Your Painted Furniture.

#StagingSaturdaysWithFallon

Today’s quick tip on staging your painted furniture:

Try and base your staging items off the color you painted the piece and the color of the hardware that is on the piece. For example, if I have black knobs on my piece of furniture, then I try to add at least one element of black in my staging (ie: a black flower pot, black candlesticks or a black frame). It doesn’t have to be a huge item, just something that ties everything together. It is also important not to distract the viewers eyes by putting contradicting colors together, such as pink and coral. The goal is to help accent the piece while showing off it’s true beauty. Don’t compete with it!
